We went to the Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville today. I grew up there and visited the zoo often, but it is much neater than it used to be. We are going to have Carson's birthday party there, so I got some shots to use on his birthday invitations.
Saturday we all went to Lakeside park in Dallas. It is hard to believe that this beautiful park is right in the middle of the busy city. The kids loved the Stone Teddy Bears and feeding the ducks. These are the first photos I have posted since I got my new Canon 30D. I absolutely love it!
We went to visit my family in Colorado for Spring Break. Amy, Kenny, and Gracie went with us. The skiing didn't go too well, but the kids sure had fun sledding with my Dad. Doesn't it look like fun??
This is my new nephew, Jack Bradley Doughty. He was born to Brad and Kyle Doughty on January 27th. I went to visit him in Colorado in February. He really liked his aunt Carri too!
Last summer, I went to Lake City, Colorado for my brother Brad's wedding. He married the greatest girl named Kyle. There wedding was a small wedding in a neat little old church and the reception was outside in the beautiful Colorado weather at their friend's home. We are so lucky to have her in our family!
Lacee gave me an opportunity to take my first bridal portraits. (Thanks Lacee!) We are cousins, but what makes me really feel like I am getting old is that I used to babysit this girl.
Gracie is my cousin Amy's little girl. She is the most photogenic kid I have ever seen. I photographed her at the Dallas Arboretum for 2 hours and she never even complained. It's not too hard to get good pictures of somebody so cute!
This is Amelia and Sylvia. I photographed them for their first birthday. They are the sweetest! Their mom is real cool too, she teaches my daughter Haley how to play the guitar. These two girls are twins but the couldn't be more opposite than night and day!
I am a daughter to two great parents, a sister to two crazy brothers, a wife, and a mother to Haley, Carson, and Keller. I have been a nurse for 12 years. I love nursing, but since having my children, I have come to realize that there is nothing better than capturing them in photos.
